Over the course of the 8-week series, Lancaster residents from around the world will join together in community building and leadership development – all through soccer. As a global sport, soccer allows players to get to know new neighbors, hone their leadership skills, and find unity in their community.

In 2023, inspired by the success of the Philadelphia International Unity Cup, Lancaster Rec launched the inaugural Lancaster Unity Cup, bringing the spirit of global unity to Lancaster County. This groundbreaking event gathers community members from around the world together through the universal language of soccer in a World Cup-style tournament.
More than just a game, the Lancaster Unity Cup serves as a dynamic platform for fostering community connection, cultural exchange, and leadership development. It invites residents from diverse backgrounds to engage, lead, and build lasting bonds, all while celebrating the joy and inclusivity of the world’s most beloved sport.
