Open Streets Lancaster

Presented by Lancaster Rec and held in partnership with Lancaster City and the Lancaster Bikes program, Open Streets is a free family-friendly event that temporarily transforms Water Street into a pedestrian mall – complete with music, food, shopping, activities promoting physical well-being, civic pride, and personal and community connections.

Open Streets Lancaster creates 8 blocks of safe, car-free streets so that community members can walk, bike, blade, and skate to engage in dozens of recreational activities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about local non-profit services and businesses, shop locally, and get to know their neighbors.
