Meet Katie, Our New Assistant Dance Instructor!
We’re thrilled to welcome Katie Taylor to the Lancaster Rec dance team! For Katie, dance has always been more than movement—it’s a powerful way to connect mind, body, and spirit. Her journey began at age 9 and has blossomed into over 16 years of experience in Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary, along with a deep love for creativity and self-expression.
Katie has trained at Greater York Center for Dance Education and Innovations Dance Center, served as co-captain of a performance company, assisted with youth classes, and performed at community events. She’s also a company member of FRWRD Dance, a Lancaster-based professional dance company that tours regionally.
Whether you’re brand new to dance or have been moving for years, Katie can’t wait to inspire self-discipline, resilience, and joy in every class. Welcome, Katie!
